What is Grab More Science?
Grab More Science is a visualization tool to help you discover better science news. Read more on our about page.
Where Does the News Come From?
Our bots gather science news from many websites and news sources. When viewing any individual article you can view and go to the original source.
What Does Rank Mean?
As our bots collect an article it assigned an initial rank by our ranking algorithm. Once added to the system users can vote on any given article and influence its rank. A articles rank influences its size and placement on the box graph.
What Does The Different Sizes Mean?
The size of a category or article is a visual representation of the rank and importance of the articles within a category or an article itself.
What is the Graphic in the Header of the Site?
We call that mini Grab More Science. It is a teaser of the actual web app. The head lines are real live articles that you can find in the web app.
What Does Beta Mean?
We are just getting started. Beta means that there may be bugs in this web app and that we make no warranties otherwise. By using this app you are participating in a test process during the launch phase of Grab More Science. As a participant in this beta trial we would really appreciate your feedback.
