NEW SonicMan™
The SonicMan is an ultrasonic device designed for shearing DNA samples directly in a microplate. The new and improved SonicMan will bring your next generation sequencing to the next level.
· Maintains isothermal sample conditions throughout sonication.
· In four hours, SonicMan can shear 96 samples as low as 200 base pairs.
· Unlike enzyme based digestion, random fragments are generated - suitable for the sequencing of large genomes.
· Sonication is a quick and simple process compared with hydrodynamic shearing.
· Other applications include:
· Resuspension of stored compounds in HTS
· Resolubilization of compounds in synthesis
· Extraction of target proteins, RNA/DNA, enzymes
via cell lysis
· Mix low volume assays
· Drive sonochemical reactions
· Transfect eukaryotic cells
· Tissue homogenization
