Alpha-Tec Systems is focused on improving the fields of clinical mycobacteriology and parasitology with unique reagent technology. Our mycobacteriology reagents can improve the accuracy of AFB diagnostics and reduce the occurrence of contaminated or reprocessed samples by controlling pH during the specimen preparation process. Our parasitology system has replaced toxic mercury based fixatives with an environmentally safe alternative that improves parasite morphology, significantly increases parasite recovery, and is compatible with immunoassays.
