Beauty of Microscopy Never Ceases to Amaze

How fun is taking the time to consider the details of an insect or enjoying a double transgenic mouse embryo in highly contrasted complimentary colors, and finally a red-eyed Testudinella is
about 150 microns (0.150 mm.) from the phylum Rotifera, aka Rotifers : the "wheel animalcules .
Has anyone else noticed that graphic designers, artists, and scientists also have had amazing
success rendering images that look the part without spending the 27
milliion Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Nano Research Team did. The image in this article is an example of such work.

Another cool image - Fly with Onchocerca volvulus
Your are right. Everything is about scale and looking at nature and science on a different scale always shows up beauty that is awe inspring. Check out this photo that was featured on Wikipedia two days ago. It is a black fly with Onchocerca volvulus (causes river blindness).
